The Manteo Redskins will face off against the Camden County Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Camden County will be up against a hot Manteo squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. The Redskins blew past Hertford County 16-2 last Thursday.

Tanner Sawyer was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Landon Saywer, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Manteo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .533 or higher in four consecutive contests.
Camden County came out on top against Gates County on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Bruins were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Red Barons. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Red Barons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Bradley Elias was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was his first of the season. Adam Gregory was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Manteo's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Camden County, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Manteo has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .490. However, it's not like Camden County struggles in that department as they've averaged .445. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Manteo was able to grind out a solid victory over Camden County when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 6-3. Do the Redskins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bruins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
