The Felicity-Franklin Cardinals pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Bethel-Tate 66-61. Felicity-Franklin was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bethel-Tate apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Felicity-Franklin's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zander Marlow, who scored nine points along with five assists and five rebounds. Marlow has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Blackburn , who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Felicity-Franklin now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Bethel-Tate, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.
Felicity-Franklin will head out on the road to face off against Williamsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Williamsburg's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Bethel-Tate, they will be playing at home against Clermont Northeastern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
