The Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers suffered their biggest defeat since December 15, 2023 on Saturday. They were dealt a 58-31 loss at the hands of Miami-Yoder. Cripple Creek-Victor has struggled against Miami-Yoder recently, as their match on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Cripple Creek-Victor had strong showings from Luciano Varas, who scored 12 points, and Chase Lohmeier, who scored six points.
Miami-Yoder's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jel Wallerstedt, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of James Orozco, who scored 17 points along with six assists and five steals.

Cripple Creek-Victor will be playing in front of their home fans against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Centennial will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Miami-Yoder, they will head out on the road to face off against Bethune at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethune is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
