When it comes to explaining why Mooseheart lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tolu Erinolu. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. Erinolu hasn't dropped below 16 points for three straight games.
Mooseheart has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for MCC, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-8.
Mooseheart will head out on the road to square off against Christian Life on Friday. As for MCC, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Northtown at 6:30 p.m. on February 8th. Northtown is coming into the matchup with six straight defeats on the road, meaning MCC will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
