Arvin lost to Golden Valley on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bears took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. Even though they lost, the Bears' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Delilah Davila and Alyssa Moreno stepped up to the plate in a big way. Davila went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI, while Moreno went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Jalynn Bautista, who went 2-for-5 with one run and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Arvin and nudges their season record down to 4-10. As for Golden Valley, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5-1.

Arvin has already played their next matchup, an 8-7 victory against Ridgeview on the 27th. As for Golden Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Tehachapi on the 28th.
