The Medfield Warriors will square off against the Norwood Mustangs at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Norwood took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Medfield, who comes in off a win.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Medfield and Dedham meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again  on Thursday. The Warriors walked away with  a   9-4  victory over the Marauders.

 Lindsay Barrett was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Connie Hillenmeyer was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Medfield was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .433. They are 4-1 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
 Meanwhile, Norwood was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They were two  runs away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of Millis.
 Medfield pushed their record up to 4-7 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Norwood, they now  have a losing record of 4-5.
 Everything went Medfield's way against Norwood in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024, as Medfield made off with  an  11-2 win. Do  the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
