Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeside). They blew past the Medical Lake Cardinals 68-42 on Tuesday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 26 points or more this season.

Medical Lake's loss came despite strong showings from Jocee Bryant and Adasha Gardner. Bryant dropped a double-double with 12 points and 14 boards, while Gardner went 6-for-14 on her way to 14 points and seven steals. The dominant performance gave Bryant a new career-high in points.

The win (which was Lakeside's fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-9. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-18 Riverside and 1-15 Riverside (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 27.4% over those games). As for Medical Lake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Lakeside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-34 victory against Colville on the 18th. As for Medical Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-38 win against Riverside on the 18th.
