Avon Grove barely beat Bayard Rustin the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Red Devils never let the Golden Knights get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Thursday. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

Avon Grove's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Bayard Rustin, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Avon Grove will square off against Downingtown West at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bayard Rustin, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Coatesville at 3:45 p.m. on the 14th.
