South Allegheny came tearing into Wednesday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Brentwood Spartans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Gladiators also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Ally Chizmar paced South Allegheny's offense, picking up nine kills. Chizmar got some help from Ava Luft and her 23 assists. Chizmar was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
