Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead University to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gage Schminke, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Schminke has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Coehn Nitzel was another key player, going 6-for-15 en route to 14 points in addition to five assists and five boards.
Eaton's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for University, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.
Eaton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-53 win against Weld Central on the 14th. As for University, they have also already played their next matchup, a 59-49 defeat against Sterling on the 14th.
