If Huntington was feeling good  fresh off their  3-0 takedown of Piketon last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huntsmen took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Unioto Shermans on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Shermans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-1  back in September.
 The  3-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Huntington lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 23-25,  25-22.
 Brailee Hauswirth paced Huntington's offense, picking up 23 kills. Hauswirth got some help from  Lydia Black and her 27 assists.  McKinzee Mills controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
 Unioto was led to victory by  Ellie Depoy and  Kiley Puckett.  Depoy  had ten  digs and two  aces, while  Puckett  had eight  digs and one  assist.
Huntington dropped their record down to 12-9 with the  loss, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Unioto, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.
