Cooper Wittler Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Waverly's Cooper Wittler, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Wittler rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Waverly pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Wittler and Waverly will face off against Plattsmouth on Friday.
