The Cascade Cougars will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Kelso Hilanders at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Cascade will be looking to keep their 12-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Friday, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Cascade made off with a 55-54 victory over Central.
Meanwhile, Kelso strolled past Rogers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 67-48. Given Kelso's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Rogers is ranked 103rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Cascade's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Kelso, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
