The Bruceville-Eddy Eagles waltzed into Tuesday's game with three straight wins but they left with four. They came out on top against Mart by a score of 37-24. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bruceville-Eddy also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Bruceville-Eddy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kambrie Diaz led the charge by scoring 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The contest was Diaz's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Elaina Mcculloch, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Bruceville-Eddy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Mart, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Bruceville-Eddy's road trip will continue as they head out to face East Bernard at 1:00 p.m. on November 30th. As for Mart, they will take on Valley Mills at 4:10 p.m. on Saturday.
