Sioux Valley had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Deuel Cardinals 71-32 on Tuesday. The Cossacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

The win (which was Sioux Valley's sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for Deuel, they dropped their record down to 4-17 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Sioux Valley will take on Great Plains Lutheran on Thursday. One thing working in Sioux Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups. Deuel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
