The Albuquerque HomeSchool Saints put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 34-2 win over Southwest Learning Center at home. Albuquerque HomeSchool has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 30 points or more this season.
Albuquerque HomeSchool's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Avory A led the charge by scoring ten points. Another player making a difference was Reyah A, who scored eight points.
Albuquerque HomeSchool pushed their record up to 6-0 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Albuquerque HomeSchool's homestand continues as they prepare to take on South Valley Academy at 4:30 p.m. on February 12th. Albuquerque HomeSchool's defense has only allowed 13.3 points per game this season, so South Valley Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Southwest Learning Center, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Albuquerque HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on February 29th.
