South Panola has gone a perfect 5-0 against Saltillo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. South Panola will head out to face off against Saltillo at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Panola has 12 straight wins, Saltillo has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
South Panola had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Corinth on Monday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 15-2 victory. Considering the Tigers have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

South Panola always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Corinth only posted an OBP of .333.
South Panola hit Saltillo with a five-run second inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. Saltillo lost 10-0 to South Panola. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Saltillo has suffered since March 21st.
Saltillo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Holly, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
South Panola's win bumped their record up to 22-3-1. As for Saltillo, their loss dropped their record down to 5-20.
Saltillo's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. South Panola has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.2 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Saltillo, though, as they've been averaging only 4.1 strikeouts. Will South Panola keep running through batters, or will Saltillo buck the trend?
Everything went South Panola's way against Saltillo in their previous matchup on Thursday, as South Panola made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Panola since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
