After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lakeland, All Saints' Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lake Gibson Braves, sneaking past 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

All Saints' Academy took Lake Gibson into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-23, 25-17, 17-25, 15-8.

Hali Vatikiotis paced All Saints' Academy's offense, picking up 16 kills. Vatikiotis got some help from Paige Lenderman and her 28 assists. Lenderman and Vatikiotis didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with five apiece.

All Saints' Academy now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Lake Gibson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

All Saints' Academy has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Victory Christian Academy on the 2nd. As for Lake Gibson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Bartow on the 2nd.
