Oil City (Pa.) notched 14 points on top of its 22-point lead going into the fourth quarter to win against Meadville (Pa.) 42-12.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Jackson McFall to
Kevin Daly in the first quarter, the Oilers were up 28-6 at the half.
Oil City came in allowing an average of 21.8 points per game this season. OC held firm on the defensive front, and kept the Bulldogs below the 15.4 points it had been averaging per game.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Oilers came away with a 35-21 victory.
With the win Oil City extended its winning streak to three games. The loss was the third in a row for Meadville.
