Gholson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hunter Nors led the charge by scoring 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nors has scored all season. Aaron Salinas was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Aquilla's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Gholson, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Everything came up roses for Aquilla against Gholson in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 76-31 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Aquilla since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
