The two-run effort marked the Kavemen's lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Not much got past Rylee Mangum, who gave up just two hits and racked up 15 Ks to keep Caldwell off the board. Mangum has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cassandra Burciaga, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Kuna's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for South Fremont, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
