Lewis County has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on The Milan Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lewis County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 135 points over their last three games.
Lewis County can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Waverly Central 48-13 on the road.
Lewis County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Drew Ray, who rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Another player making a difference was Chaz Sparkman, who gained 155 total yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Milan unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by Riverside 48-14.
Lewis County's win lifted them to 9-1 while Milan's defeat dropped them down to 8-2.
Things could have been worse for Lewis County, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 28-14 loss to Milan in their previous meeting back in November of 2014. Thankfully for Lewis County, Isiah Ross (who rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
