Thunder Basin has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Campbell County Camels at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Friday, Thunder Basin faced Natrona County in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Thunder Basin suffered a tough 55-33 defeat at the hands of Natrona County. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Thunder Basin has suffered yet this season.
Meanwhile, Campbell County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 58-34 defeat at the hands of Natrona County.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jackson Evans, who scored six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylan Robertson, who scored five points along with two steals.
Thunder Basin's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Campbell County, they bumped their record down to 4-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Thunder Basin came up short against Campbell County when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 48-40. Can Thunder Basin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
