The Shawnee Renegades just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Bishop Eustace Prep Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Shawnee will be strutting in after a win while Bishop Eustace Prep will be coming in after a loss.
On Monday, Shawnee strolled past Westampton Tech with points to spare, taking the game 56-40. The win made it back-to-back wins for Shawnee.
Meanwhile, Bishop Eustace Prep's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 69-51 to Middle Township. While losing is never fun, Bishop Eustace Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Middle Township is ranked tenth).
Shawnee is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Bishop Eustace Prep, they bumped their record down to 7-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Shawnee came up short against Bishop Eustace Prep in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 51-44. Can Shawnee avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
