Bourgeois might have drawn first blood against Central Lafourche on Friday, but it was Central Lafourche who got the last laugh. Bourgeois found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 3-31 punch to the gut against Central Lafourche. If Bourgeois were hoping to take revenge for the 34-43 defeat against Central Lafourche the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
The loss dropped Bourgeois' record to 2-4. The victory bumped Central Lafourche's record up to 5-1.
Bourgeois will look to defend their home turf next week against Lakeshore at 7:00 PM. Backed by six consecutive blowout victories, Lakeshore are looking for someone to give them a challenge; hopefully Bourgeois will step up. As for Central Lafourche, they will face off against Destrehan. Destrehan are cruising in on a three-game winning streak.
