The Kashmere Fighting Rams suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 93-26 loss at the hands of Washington. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kashmere in their matchups with Washington: they've now lost seven in a row.
It was another big night for Odis Carter, who scored 27 points along with five steals for Washington. Carter is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Abraham Kirksey was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Kashmere has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Washington, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-4.
Kashmere's road trip will continue as they head out to face Scarborough at 10:00 a.m. on January 27th. Washington won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Wheatley at 10:00 a.m. on January 20th. Wheatley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten games -- so hopefully Washington likes a good challenge.
