Desia Perez made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double.
