Softball Game Preview: Creston Panthers vs. Lewis Central Titans

Creston has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lewis Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Panthers will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Titans at 5:00 p.m. Creston's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Lewis Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

It was a proper cat-fight when Creston duked it out with A-D-M on Saturday. The Panthers took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Lewis Central strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against Lawton-Bronson by a score of 11-6. While the Titans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Lewis Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Creston, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Creston took their win against Lewis Central in their previous matchup back in June of 2024 by a conclusive 13-5 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
