The Riverview Sarasota Rams put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Newsome 55-4 at home. Riverview Sarasota might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matchups by 26 points or more this season.
Susan Lowther was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Guy, who scored 16 points.
Riverview Sarasota pushed their record up to 6-0 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Newsome, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverview Sarasota will take on Lakewood Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newsome, they will be playing at home against Sumner at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sumner's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
