We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Pell City will be up against a hot Hackleburg squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. Hackleburg put the hurt on Haleyville with a sharp 12-1 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Braylynn Pope and Bryleigh Butler made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Pope struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Butler tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the most strikeouts Pope has posted since back in February. At bat, Pope scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Butler went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Butler also put up a stolen base, which was her first of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Carson Browning, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Pell City not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 3rd. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over Lincoln. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Golden Bears: they've now won four in a row.
Like Hackleburg, Pell City also got a great game from a two-way player: Addy Simmons. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, Simmons gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in February. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.
In other pitching news, Ally Mosley looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Aubrey Tucker, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyla Treptau, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.
Pell City hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln struck out seven times.
Hackleburg pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Pell City, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.
