The Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders lost against the South Titans back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Kapaun Mt. Carmel's rough 48-23 loss to South might stick with them for a while. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kapaun Mt. Carmel in their matchups with South: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Kapaun Mt. Carmel saw an underclassman step up: Brooklyn Milleson scored 7 points.
Kapaun Mt. Carmel now has a losing record at 1-2. As for South, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kapaun Mt. Carmel will take on East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South will be home for the holidays to greet Liberal at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
