Central lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Denham Springs, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's matchup. The Wildcats were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Yellowjackets on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Central, bringing their record up to 12-10. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Denham Springs, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will square off against Woodlawn-B.R. at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Denham Springs, they will head out to face off against St. Amant at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gators' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Yellowjackets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
