He is becoming a predictor of Pickerington North's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Pickerington North got a massive performance out of Nic Markle, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Markle a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Sanders, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Pickerington North kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
New Albany's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Pickerington North, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
