Benjamin Russell suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Thursday. They were the victim of a rough 60-39 defeat at the hands of Chilton County. While losing is never fun, Benjamin Russell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 294th, while Chilton County is ranked 121st).
Chilton County's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-9. As for Benjamin Russell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.
