Galena is 8-2 against West Carroll since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Galena Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the West Carroll Thunder at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Galena's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while West Carroll has been banged up by 19 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Galena posted their biggest win since December 18, 2023 on Tuesday. They blew past Warren 56-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Galena has posted against Warren since February 24, 2021.
Connor Glasgow was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with two steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Galena's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Mcnett, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
West Carroll suffered their biggest defeat since December 5, 2023 last Monday. They took a serious blow against Polo, falling 88-47. West Carroll was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-25.
Galena is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for West Carroll, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.
