If Virginia High wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Gate City, they should've done a better job of containing Sophie Webb. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bearcats on Wednesday thanks in part to Webb, who had 29 assists and three digs. She has been hot, having posted 18 or more assists the last eight times she's played.

Gate City is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Virginia High, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.
