Sherando came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Handley Judges a 29-0 shutout. The Warriors' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Madalyn Cox was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs while going 3-for-5.
