 In other batting news,  Leah Hall was  excellent,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run. That  home run was  her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Cheyenne Reese, who  went 2-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI.
Gibsonburg's record now sits at 9-5. As for Hopewell-Loudon, they moved to 10-6 with that  loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
