Leading Anthony Wayne to victory were Brooke Bender and Elise Bender. Bender shot 4-for-7 from long range and dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds, while Bender scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. It was the first time this season that Bender pulled down eight or more rebounds. Sophie Smith was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight assists.
Anthony Wayne's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for Perrysburg, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6.
