It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Community Charter Titans can now relate to. They were the victim of a rough 8-2 loss at the hands of the Cougars on Wednesday. Community Charter was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.
Jeffery Contreras wasn't going to let Middle College walk away unscathed as he scored both of Community Charter's goals. With that big game, he's now up to 28 goals this season.
Community Charter's loss dropped their record down to 10-3-3. As for Middle College, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-5-1.
Community Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Middle College, they will head out on the road to square off against Contreras at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
