South was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Woodlake Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Scarlett Lopez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. As for Woodlake, they will head out on the road to take on Summit Charter Collegiate Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
