Clairton was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from third to first in WPIAL A Black Hills. Earlier in the week, the Bears triumphed over Fort Cherry 52-35.
Clairton extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Rangers, 52-35. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Fort Cherry's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Rangers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matt Heslin has thrown for 1,217 yards and 26 touchdowns this season, while Zak Dysert has 30 catches for 567 yards.
The Bears made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,118 from 2,395. The advance stemmed from a 52-35 victory over Fort Cherry last week.
