Humboldt put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 75-37 win over the Neodesha Blue Streaks. Fans of the Cubs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Humboldt to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tre Franklin, who went 8 of 10 en route to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Ellis, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 14 points and three steals.
Humboldt was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
