Shoemaker Posts Huge Game in 29-26 Loss
Starting off the list is Cozad's Noah Shoemaker, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Shoemaker rushed for 143 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 186 yards on 18 of 28 attempts. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
With the loss, Cozad broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2. Shoemaker and Cozad will venture away from home to face off against Holdrege at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Orrin Kuehn Makes It Two for Minden
Another Minden player making an appearance on this list is Orrin Kuehn. He rushed for 85 yards.
Kuehn and Minden will take on Gothenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Whippets had to take a loss when they last met the Swedes, but Kuehn had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 110 yards on only 14 carries. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
