The Raymond Seagulls lost to the Chief Leschi Warriors back in February, but the Raymond Seagulls didn't allow the Chief Leschi Warriors the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Raymond came out on top against Chief Leschi by a score of 51-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Raymond.
Raymond got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chris Banker out in front who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Banker pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Talan Yearout, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds.
Raymond's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-2. As for Chief Leschi, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing North Beach the next time they take the court. Chief Leschi will head out to face North Beach at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Raymond will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
