Ransom Everglades barely beat Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the Ransom Everglades Raiders' way against the Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions on Wednesday as the Ransom Everglades Raiders made off with a 13-1 victory. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Mason Lastra was a standout: he scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Ransom Everglades is undefeated when Lastra posts two or more runs, but 3-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Juan Velazco, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.

Ransom Everglades kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) only managed four hits.

Ransom Everglades has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.3 runs. Somerset Academy (Silver Palms)'s defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8.
