The Bishop Shanahan Eagles won the last time they faced the Pottsgrove Falcons, and things went their way  on Friday too. In a tight  game that could have gone either way, Bishop Shanahan made off with a  29-28 victory over Pottsgrove. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Bishop Shanahan.
 When it comes to explaining why Pottsgrove lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Gabe  Rinda. Despite the final result, he threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns.
 Bishop Shanahan's win was  their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-5. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-7 Central and 4-7 Great Valley (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 37.4% over those games). As for Pottsgrove, they now  have a losing record at 5-6.
 Bishop Shanahan will square off against Pope John Paul II at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Pope John Paul II will be coming into the  contest with an undefeated record on the line. Pottsgrove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
