On Saturday, Vintage didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Kimball, but they still walked away with a 57-51 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Vintage.
Miles Macpherson was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points. The game was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brady Hearn, who scored 10 points.
Despite the loss, Kimball still got an impressive performance from Jaden Ryan, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds. Tobe Nwankwo was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Kimball were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Vintage only pulled down six.
Vintage now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Kimball, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.
Vintage will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Santa Rosa at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. Hopefully Santa Rosa focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Saturday. As for Kimball, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mountain House at 7:30 p.m. Mountain House has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 209 points over their last three matches.
