The Immokalee Indians will challenge the Donahue Catholic Shamrocks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Immokalee's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past East Lee County 7-0.

Aiden Puente was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Immokalee is undefeated when Puente posts two or more runs, but 2-9 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adrian Ramirez, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Pablo Alfaro also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Donahue Catholic got the win against Naples Classical on Friday by a conclusive 23-6. The result was nothing new for the Shamrocks, who have now won four contests by nine runs or more so far this season.
Isaac Loboda was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Jack Kadlec, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple.
Donahue Catholic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .750. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Immokalee has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. Donahue Catholic now has a winning record of 4-3.
Everything went Immokalee's way against Donahue Catholic in their previous meeting last Tuesday, as Immokalee made off with a 10-0 win. Does Immokalee have another victory up their sleeve, or will Donahue Catholic turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
