Immanuel Christian lost against King Abdullah Academy in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 73-47 score last time.
Immanuel Christian's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cameron Blanding, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Luke Burnside was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
King Abdullah Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zak Osman, who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was AD Ahmed, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Immanuel Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for King Abdullah Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Immanuel Christian will look to defend their home court on Thursday against E.L. Haynes at 6:15 p.m. As for King Abdullah Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Wakefield School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
